A Celebration of Outstanding People
The Pan American Development
Foundation works each day with individuals in
Latin American and the Caribbean who are making
a significant difference in their communities.
They help the survivors of natural disasters,
strengthen civil society and create economic
opportunities for the most vulnerable among
us.
To celebrate these remarkable
individuals, PADF has created a marquee event
called Heroes of the
Hemisphere that tells their stories. Now
in its second year, this spectacular event will
take place in Fort Lauderdale on Sunday,
October 17.
Joining in the 2010 Heroes of the
Hemisphere celebration will be superstar

who will recognize the honoree from Colombia.
Actress and Cover Girl model Dania Ramirez
and actress Maria Bello will also attend and
present awards.
Returning to the second annual event is Jimmy Jean-Louis (NBC's Heroes), along with Univision's Satcha Pretto Padilla as the mistress of ceremonies.

to be a Hero, too. Only through contributions
from companies and individuals like you can the

lives of our neighbors in Latin America and the
Caribbean. Please click on Supporters to learn

Thanks to
the generosity of host Celebrity Cruises, all

More importantly, you make a difference in the
lives of our neighbors, just like the event's
celebrated heroes do everyday.
